A Very Busy June!

Relaxing in the summer sun

On Friday 20th June we held our ‘National Care Homes’ Open Day. It was a great success with lots of people coming throughout the day to visit us at Pinhay.

During the day we had Reflexology & hand massage workshops from local practitioners.
We had music provided by our visiting harpists, arts and crafts and many other activities taking place.

Visitors enjoyed a home made buffet lunch

In the afternoon we had a Tai Chi demonstration and lesson followed by a lovely performance by the Karizma Majorettes.

The main highlight of the day was………….. the weather! It stayed bright and sunny all day and all our events happened outside, taking advantage of our beautiful view over Lyme Bay.

A huge thank you to all who took part and came along, we look forward to next years event.
The weekend that followed saw us take a stand at the Axe Vale Festival in Axminster.

It was a wonderful festival & we didn’t stop all weekend. Lots of people visited us to ask for advice and support and we had so many compliments from people thanking us for being there.

With lots of freebies to handout and plugging the Seaton Memory Cafe that we are involved in the weekend was a great success!

We look forward to returning next year bigger and better!
